Description
Model PU14 side units are accessories designed to punch holes on the outer edge of moving film; especially for neutral or printed film, and are to be integrated into existing film transport lines such as extruders, welding machines, slitters, bag-making machines, printing machines and all running film processing lines. Especially ideal for making handle holes of different sizes and other types of shaped holes.
Operation
The punch tool consists of two parts: a female body housing the die located at the bottom, and a male body housing the punch, located at the top and connected to the solenoid valve. The lower part of the female body is designed to accommodate the suction tube that facilitates the removal of machining waste.
The running film edge passes through the body cutout and is punched by the perforator mounted at the head of the machine through a pneumatically driven die and punch system.
Dies and Punches
Depending on the interchangeable dies and punches mounted, it is possible to perforate holes of various diameters and shapes: circular holes with diameters ranging from Ø1mm to 50mm, valve holes, euroslots, drop holes, and HAND HOLES OF DIFFERENT SIZES.

Electronics
The EDMB electronics is an easy-to-use model that is intuitive and simple to set up. This electronic is ideal for processing that requires a few lines of holes in a linear or alternating pattern. With the help of a photocell, it is possible to process printed film with the presence of reading marks on the material, such as for holes on bags and envelopes with logos.
