Description
Model PU 13 overhang side units are accessories designed for punching holes in moving film; particularly for neutral or printed film, and are to be integrated into extrusion plants, welding machines, slitters, bag-making machines or printing machines and all lines processing moving film, to punch holes in fruit and vegetable bags, garbage bags, paper bags, foam, etc. This model is ideal for all processing that requires perforating holes in moving film that varies often in width.
Operation
The punch tool consists of two parts: a female body housing the die located at the bottom, and a male body housing the punch, located at the top and connected to the solenoid valve.
The edge of the running film passes through the body cutout and is punched by perforation tools through a pneumatically driven die and punch system mounted on the device;
Importantly, each perforator is independent and can punch with different frequency and power from the others, giving the possibility to diversify and customize perforation patterns. In this particular model, it is possible to move the unit to conform to the changing width of the moving material, up to a maximum width of 600mm, without having to move and align the punching tools, and thus achieving significant time savings.
Dies and punches
Depending on theinterchangeable dies and punches used, it is possible to make holes with Ø 1mm to 50mm, circular holes, valve holes, butterfly holes and half-moon holes.

Electronics
The EDMB electronics is an easy-to-use model that is intuitive and simple to set up. This electronic is ideal for processing that requires a few lines of holes in a linear or alternating pattern. With the help of a photocell, it is possible to process printed film with the presence of reading marks on the material, such as for holes on bags and envelopes with logos.
