Model CN-MC COLD MICRO PERFORATION system for holes from 50µ to 1mm.


Description

The CNMC MICRO PERFORATOR is a versatile space-saving model designed to make MICRO HOLES  of various diameters on MOVING FILM, and is to be inserted as a host unit in lines such as slitters, extruders, printing or welding machines and on all production lines that process continuous film. Suitable for making micro holes for vegetable and fruit bags, thermal and acoustic insulation, packaging of electronic products, breathable film, etc.

Operation

Perforation is done through the perforating unit consisting of TWO GROUPS OF NEEDLE ROLLERS  and a COUNTER ROLLER. The running film arrives at the unit and passes through ONE OF THE NEEDLE ROLLERS AND THE COUNTER ROLLER placed in the center. Coming into contact, they perforate the material. The rollers are approached through the pneumatic system and the perforation adjustment is implemented by two micrometer screws. The CNMC moves through the film drag, adapting perfectly to the speed* of the host machine or line. The perforation process is carried out continuously.

Machine Components

The supporting structure houses the counter roller (made of ground bristles or rubber) in the center. At the top and bottom of this support roller are forks that house the needle rollers.

The enabling/disabling of perforation is done by pneumatic movement; forks with needle rollers are approached by the pneumatic system to the central counter roller until they make contact and perforate the film. 

Manual adjustment of perforation is by means of two micrometer screws with indexed knobs for maximum precision of hole Ø.

The forks that hold the needle rollers are based on recirculating ball bearing guides (or slides), that move on rails, along the entire length of the structure, allowing decisions to be made about where to place the needle roller.

The set-up of the CNMC allows the film to be micro-perforated while running without the need to stop production for needle roller changes.

In the CNMC, the NEEDLE ROLLER CHANGE takes place WITH THE MACHINE MOVING; it is not necessary, with the set-up of this equipment, to stop production because while the counter roller is working with the needle rolls of the upper group, the operator can replace the needle rolls of the lower group with the machine working. It will then suffice to enable the lower needle unit's perforation and disable the upper unit to continue perforating the film, saving all the downtime required with other, less efficient equipment models.

Depending on the material to be micro-perforated, counter rollers can be ordered in ground bristles or rubber.

    • 1: Support roller

    The supporting structure houses the support roller (in rubber or in ground bristles) in the center. At the top and bottom of this roller are forks that house the needle rollers.

    • 2: Forks housing the needle rollers

    The enabling and disabling of perforation occurs via pneumatic movement; the forks with the needle rollers are brought closer to the central support  roller by the pneumatic system, until they come into contact and perforate  the film.

    • 3: Micrometric screws

    With these, manual adjustment of perforation occurs using the indexed knobs to achieve maximum precision of hole diameter Ø.

    • 4: Recirculating ball bearings

    (or slides) that move on rails, along the total length of the structure, allowing you to decide where to place the needle shaft.
