COLD MICRO PERFORATION system model CN-CP for holes from 80µ to 1.8mm with interchangeable needle roller
Description
The CNCP MICROPERFORATOR is a model designed to make micro holes of various diameters on moving materials and is to be inserted as a host unit in continuous material transport lines. Solid and functional, it guarantees the best performance for making perforated materials for construction, particularly in the area of thermal and acoustic insulation. This device is designed on a steel structure with a base equipped with 4 self-levelling feet, adjustable in height for a maximum variation of 30mm.
The center columns house a pair of idler level rollers in a fixed position. The CNCP moves through the material dragging and adapts perfectly to the speed of the host line.
With this machine it is possible to do perforation on the material by two needle shafts, on the upper and lower sides of the material or only on the upper side. In addition, it is possible to exclude perforation on both sides and use the machine as a transfer pass only.
Operation
Perforation is done by the perforating unit which consists of two needle shafts. The film passes between two needle shafts, which come into contact with the material and perforate it continuously. The shafts approach each other through the pneumatic system and an asynchronous motor.
CNCP moves through material dragging and adapts perfectly to the speed* of the host machine or line.
Perforation can occur with operator-controlled penetration or under pressure with the engaged pistons that push down the upper needle shaft, causing the needle penetration into the material at the full length of the needle protrusion. Pneumatic cylinders, assisted by their pressure regulators, allow rapid disengagement when needed.
Operation and Components
Base structure
The base structure consists of a solid steel frame with adjustable feet.
Upper perforation group
The upper perforation unit consists of an upper perforation shaft and the following parts: an asynchronous motor which drives a gearbox to which an acme screw is mounted. This screw is connected by a nut which in turn is fixed to a plate. The pneumatic piston is connected with a slide to which the is also fixed a pneumatic piston. It is possible to lower the needle shaft by a maximum of 300 mm. An incremental encoder is housed on the slow shaft of the gearboxes.
Lower perforation group
The lower perforation group is similar to the upper one but with the reversed elements and a reduced height of 50mm.
Needle shaft
The steel roller mounts bronze, steel, or aluminum shingles with needle infixes. These needle shingles are attached to the roller by countersunk screws. With this system, it is possible to change the shingles individually, depending on their wear and tear, without having to disassemble the entire perforation shaft, making the replacement process quick and easy.
Idler group
The idler roller assembly consists of three aluminum idler rollers.
