Description

This equipment is designed to make micro holes on moving films of various materials and thicknesses and is to be inserted as a host unit in film processing lines, such as in slitters, extruders, printing and welding machines. The CNM100 is a motorized unit with a synchronization system that ensures perfect micro holes on a variety of materials.


Operation

The CNM100 is a micro needle perforator in which the running film arrives at the device and passes between the motorized needle shaft and the counter roller, which as they approach each other perforate the material. Micro perforation is accomplished by perforating the material, caused by the needles infixed on the interchangeable bronze sleeves that are mounted on the needle shaft. 

The operation of the CNM100 is entrusted to our software ready for 4.0; from the electrical control panel, the operator (via touch screen) manages all operations inherent to the device such as needle roller rotation, speed or control of emergency signals.

The movement is by means of an integrated asynchronous motor with driver and encoder and "tracking" function that allows the needle shaft to adapt to the speed of the moving film, resulting in flawless holes even with the most difficult materials and with high-density perforations. The motor allows the device to adapt perfectly to the speed of the host line.

During perforation, the material to be micro-perforated is supported and brought closer to the needle shaft by a counter roller made of ground bristles or rubber. The penetration depth is adjusted by manual control using the special micrometer screws located above the casing.


Components

Needle Shaft (1)

It consists of a steel roller on which cylinders (5) are mounted, which can be spaced to micro-perforate multiple tracks in the material, or adjacent to each other to perforate the entire usable surface of the film. It is designed to ensure quick and easy replacement of the cylinders (required for processing changes).

Counter roller(2)

It has a perfectly uniform surface that allows for the homogeneity of the holes made and can be supplied in ground natural bristles, plastic bristles or rubber. It is pneumatically driven, allowing it to be moved closer to or farther away from the needle shaft, thus deciding whether to enable or disable perforation.

Idle rollers (3)

These are two steel rollers and make up the idler unit, designed to ensure optimum control of the tension of the film to be processed. The position and number of rollers varies according to the needs, and can be agreed when ordering.

Micrometer screws (4)

They are part of the penetration adjustment system, and are used to adjust the distance between the counter roller and the needle roller, setting the penetration of the needles into the material and consequently the diameter of the hole to be made. The adjustment can take place either when the machine is stopped or with the machine in the process of working, ensuring versatility and maximum precision of penetration into the material.As an additional guarantee for optimal control of the tension of the film to be processed, a transfer unit consisting of two steel idler rollers(3) is provided.

Interchangeable cylinders (5)

Bronze, steel or nylon sectors with needles infixed. They are mounted on the needle shaft (1). The holes have a minimum Ø of 80µ and a maximum Ø of 1mm. The density is up to 80 needles per cm2.

Asynchronous motor with driver and encoder(6)

It moves the needle shaft and has a "tracking" function that allows the rotation to be synchronized with the speed of the film flow and thus with the speed of the host line, thus avoiding stretching of the material and achieving flawless holes even with the most difficult materials and at high needle density per cm².
