The model PC200 to make Cross pre-cuts on moving film at customizable distances
Description
The PC200 model is a motorized device to be installed as a host unit in extruders, slitters, printing machines, bag-making machines, and in all processing lines of moving films. It makes transverse pre-cuts on materials of different thicknesses with customizable width. It is used to make easy tear openings on bags, garbage bags, shoppers, labels, etc.
Operation
The running film arrives at the machine and is pre-cut by the blade shaft that comes in contrast to the counter roller supporting the material. The contrast roller approaches the blade shaft by pneumatic motion which enables the cutting.
The PC200 moves thanks to the drive system that consists of integrated brushless motor, driver and encoder that synchronize the speed of the blade shaft with the speed of the film, reaching 200mt/min.*
This system avoids stretching of the processed material, guaranteeing always precise cuts even in the presence of difficult materials and equalizing the speed of the device to that of the line or host machine.
Device Components
Pre-Cutting Group
The pre-cutting unit consists of a shaft with toothing (1) on which the toothed blades (2) are screwed. When ordering, it is possible to choose the number of blade lines to be mounted on the shaft, up to a maximum of 4 lines.
The depth of the cut on the material is adjustable manually using screws located on the sides of the shaft. With the adjustment system you can move the contrast roller closer or further away, deciding whether to enable or disable cutting and the penetration level of the blades (on which depends the length of the cuts).
Support Group
It consists of the support roller (3) made of rectified bristles or rubber (depending on the processes to be carried out) and the slides. The roller supports the material while it is being processed, acting as a cutting support and thus ensuring the best results. This roller is mounted on movable slides that move it towards or away from the material, enabling or disabling cutting.
Idler Roller
The device is equipped with an idler roller that guides the material to the pre-cut and facilitates its tension, maximizing the effectiveness of the device.
Casing
The casings contain the appliance and consist of the two sides and opening doors equipped with a safety system that prevents the appliance from starting when they are open.
Electrical Panel
The operator interface is entrusted to our software designed for 4.0 integration. Intuitive and user friendly, the electronic control system allows the operator, via touch screen, to manage all the functions of the appliance and receive system communications.
